Booking

How do I book a flight?

You can book directly on our website using the booking widget on the homepage. Select your origin, destination, travel dates, and number of passengers, then follow the steps to complete your reservation. You'll receive a confirmation email with your booking reference.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Visit the Manage Booking page and enter your booking reference and last name. From there you can view your itinerary, request changes, or cancel. Cancellation fees may apply depending on your fare type and how close to departure you are.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards, mobile money (M-Pesa, EVC Plus), and bank transfers for group bookings. All payments are processed securely.

Baggage

What is the baggage allowance?

Adult passengers are entitled to 1 checked bag (30 kg max) and 1 carry-on bag (7 kg max) on routes between Somalia and Kenya. Additional or overweight bags are charged at $5 per kg over the limit. Sporting equipment and oversized items must be pre-arranged.

Can I carry extra baggage?

Yes. You can pre-purchase additional baggage allowance online at a discounted rate, or pay at the airport. Pre-purchasing is recommended as airport rates are higher. The maximum single bag weight is 32 kg.

Check-in

How do I check in for my flight?

All check-in is done at the airport check-in counter. There is no online check-in. Please arrive at the airport with your booking confirmation and travel documents. Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 45 minutes before departure.

What do I need to bring to the check-in counter?

Bring your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone), a valid passport, and any required visas. Your boarding pass will be issued at the counter.

Travel Documents

What documents do I need to fly?

All passengers require a valid passport for international flights. Visa requirements vary by destination — please check with the relevant embassy before travel. For domestic Somalia flights, a national ID or passport is required.

Do you offer visa-on-arrival assistance?

Some of our destinations offer visa-on-arrival for certain nationalities. We recommend checking the latest requirements with the relevant embassy. Our customer service team can provide general guidance but cannot guarantee visa approvals.

Special Assistance

Do you accommodate passengers with reduced mobility?

Yes. We provide wheelchair assistance, priority boarding, and accessible seating. Please notify us at least 48 hours before departure so we can make the necessary arrangements. There is no additional charge for these services.

Can unaccompanied minors fly with Dhaqane?

Children aged 5–11 may travel unaccompanied with our Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service. A dedicated crew member will supervise the child throughout the journey. This service must be booked through our call centre and incurs a $50 fee per sector.

Cargo

Do you offer cargo services?

Yes. We offer belly cargo on all scheduled flights and can arrange dedicated charter cargo flights. Contact our cargo desk at cargo@dhaqaneairline.com for rates and availability.
